Our mission is to:
CREATE an atmosphere where children experience the love and acceptance of Jesus.
SEE children grow in their relationship with Jesus using Biblical truths to direct their lives.
NURTURE our children’s gifts as they discover their God-given purpose.
Every Sunday, toddlers through 6th grade kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Each week we want every child to leave knowing that: God loves them, we believe in them, and church is fun!
Check in before service at our check-in station.
Children’s Director | Heather Strausburg
When you arrive, look for our Kids Check-In Station located in the sanctuary lobby. You’ll be greeted by one of our friendly agapeKIDS Check-In volunteers ready to meet your family and show you around. We’ll be with you every step of the way!
You and your child will receive matching ID tags specific to your family and visit. Your child will wear the name tag portion, and you will keep the matching tag. After service, show the agapeKIDS teacher your matching tag for pickup. If you lose your ID tag, you will be required to show your driver’s license instead.
Families worship together during the music portion of Sunday services, and kids are then dismissed to their classes before the message.
Our mission is to reach young people in our community and help develop them to be successful Christ followers. We will teach them about God’s plan for spiritual, emotional, social, economic and intellectual growth for their lives.
Our mission is to allow young people to use their talents, gifts and abilities to build the Kingdom of God as well as better themselves and reach their peers with the message of Jesus Christ. We do this through Bible centered and Holy Spirit inspired messages and discipleship. Discipleship and leadership development is a pillar of our ministry and we believe that intensional, relational discipleship develops, trains, and equips youth to flourish in Christ.
Come as you are. All youth in every walk of life are invited… 7-12th grade.
Youth Service every Sunday after worship in 10am service

The 1825 Ministry at Agape helps young adults (ages 18-25) navigate their faith in light of the transitions that adulthood brings. 1825ers come from all walks of life — Cal Poly and Cuesta college students as well as those who choose other paths.
Our goal is to help 1825ers understand what it means to respond to the Holy Spirit in their daily lives as they navigate important life decisions. This is done through authentic connections at 1825 gatherings:
Sunday After Service Fellowship: 11:30am
Monthly Dinner Gatherings at the 1825 Ministry Director’s home
Regular Outings (such as Indoor Rock Climbing, Movie Nights, etc,.)
Bible Study and Training Series (such as Evangelism, NT studies, Apologetics, etc,.)
Many 1825ers love Agape for being their “home away from home” so we look forward to having you meet the family! Please reach out with any questions. Let’s meet for coffee, my treat!

House Church Gatherings
We are in the process of birthing a movement of House Church Gatherings all over the Central Coast. A House Church Gathering brings together 6-12 adults plus children, that meet at least twice a month to share meals, ministry, and mission.
Eating together is essential to the culture of House Church Gatherings. Sharing meals is how we begin to enjoy one another, serve one another, and get to know one another more deeply across generations.
The sacred elements of ministry at a house church are worship, short devotions from the Bible, sharing, and prayer.
House Church Gatherings can beautifully reach our neighbors with the Gospel. Our neighbors are all the people who inhabit our professional and personal lives. During the times of sharing, members are encouraged to identify specific neighbors that God may be calling them to reach.

If we were to be defined by anything, it would be our passion for the transforming Presence of God and our love for His church. From the very beginning, worship has been a vital part of Agape Church’s DNA. There is no greater sight than people of all ages and backgrounds coming together and expressing love for Jesus during worship. From week to week, we pursue an encounter with Him and we welcome you to join us!

The diversity at Agape provides many opportunities to minister to women from various backgrounds.
In the days we are living, we believe God is looking for those committed to Him, positioned to be an extension for others to follow. Joel says in the last days, God will pour out His Spirit on all flesh. As ladies in the body of Christ, it is our season to blaze new trails for others to follow; leading with a spirit of excellence.

The men’s group of Agape is a Christ-centered ministry dedicated to uniting men through vital relationships to become spiritual leaders in the home, church and community.
We encourage and provide a variety of opportunities for involvement, including small group meetings, one-on-one mentoring and accountability relationships, annual retreats (ManCamp) and adventure outings.
The men of Agape are active in the church body in many ways including vehicle oil changes for single ladies, moving assistance, BBQ’ing for church events and providing support for various outreaches and church functions.
